Reason for starting: For years I struggled with a health disorder that affects so many women. On my hunt to find natural alternatives to manage my health and promote balance from within, I was inspired to start a blog and share the knowledge I’d acquired while learning from other women. That idea blossomed into what is Ladies Balance. Eventually the concept grew to become a brand providing products, a community and a platform that helps women find a healthy balance in their lives to live healthier and happier.

How do you define success? I define success as simply being able to live with passion and finding balance in all aspect of one’s life.
Biggest Success: My biggest success is launching the ASANA by Ladies Balance line and reading the wonderful reviews on how the product has helped so many women so far. It is truly empowering to be able to produce a product and platform that enables women to live healthier and happier.
My goals are to expand the product line to include products that address a wide variety of issues for women. I would also like to develop the website into a more interactive community where women can conversate, ask questions and share helpful information with one another.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it? My top challenge has been predominantly financial. It has made it obligatory that I hold down a 9 to 5 while working diligently on the business, which is another major challenge in itself. Having to split my time between two full-time gigs can be extremely taxing physically and emotionally. Everyday I strive to learn how to find a balance in order to be effective at both until I can focus on the business.

Who is your most important role model? My most important role model is my mother. Her support and encouragement is what keeps me going during times when the road gets lonely and tough. She is also my biggest inspiration to never give up because one day I want to be able to provide her the life that she’s always deserved.
