It might sound corny but watching Rose Yeong convey this simple message carries meaning.
As a child growing up in Malaysia Rose’s father didn’t believe girls deserved a lot, so she ran away from home. Later her husband wanted her to stay at home, annoyed that she wanted to run her own business.
They divorced and Rose struggled along the way but grew into a savvy business woman who now sells thousands of shoes each year. Rose’s message to women is be good to yourself, and this includes being financially independent, espeically if you’re married.
