Name: Jackie Berlowski

Business: BiziBubble.com, a service that customizes and delivers feminine hygiene packages

Industry: Health & Beauty, E-Commerce

Location: Delray Beach, Florida, U.S.

Reason for starting: I have always been determined to work for myself. I knew if I could work extremely hard for others, there was no reason I couldn’t do it for my own business. I want to give women something to look forward to each month. Something as easy as their feminine hygiene products could be delivered to them, eliminating that errand, or borrowing from a friend. This could be more convenient for women who are busy and on the go. If I needed that, I knew there had to be other women who felt the same.

I believe that I am trying to make waves in an industry that has been around for a very long time. I want to change the buying habits of women and how they’ve been accustomed to buying these items for years. In an era where convenience is top of mind, a monthly need such as feminine hygiene products is one thing that should be delivered. It should be convenient. Every woman is different, shouldn’t there monthly needs be treated the same way? We are customizing each delivery and having fun.

How do you define success? I define success when you look forward to doing what you’re doing each day. Then you know you’re in a happy place in life, enjoying the process. You’re not waiting for this big “thing” to happen, or to take place to make you happier. Success is enjoying the moment and being truly happy where you are.

Biggest Success: I would say having the guts to take the leap and start a new venture. No one can predict the future and tell you if it will work or not…that the risks you took paid off. But taking the leap was my biggest success.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it? My top challenge is educating people that we exist. Once you build it…they do not just come. You have to shout from the roof tops that you’re there. We have addressed it by working with incredible people who are amazing at what they do. Through marketing, social media and events we have been getting the word out there to our targeted audience.
