Reason for starting
I just slid into making soap! I had a car accident before 2004 and I was bored, so I started making other crafts, and soon just slid into making soaps, lotions, etc. for myself and soon thereafter started selling online in 2005.
How do you define success?
Success is not just about money. It’s about pure hard work and determination to make it! Love what you do like I do. I love making bath products. There is not a lot of money in it yet (after almost 10 years), but I love pampering women, men and kids. I love making a change in their skin for the better. I wake up breathing it, going to bed breathing soap. I am a success. I didn’t give up! I’m still at it for the rest of my days.. Quitters never win, and winners NEVER quit.

My biggest success is making others happy with Norma’s Bath and Body Products.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
My biggest challenge is starting a home based business. Boy, it was hard, but it’s worth the hard work and sweat. I just deal with it because it’s my business that I’m building. Nothing comes easy so I do the best that I can and keep going!
Who is your most important role model?
My Mom! She endured a lot in her life, and she’s still standing. She’s determined to make it and I’m just like her!
