Reason for starting
While there are some amazing writers and historians that tackle Italian American Women identities, there aren’t many online places to share stories, photos and build community. Italian Americans have such a rich tradition of storytelling and often hold beautiful stories of immigration, struggles of assimilation, families and more.
Biggest Success
Getting folks to share their intimate family photos with me.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Figuring out ways to outreach younger people (18-24) – I’ve created a Twitter and have been able to interact with a variety of ages.

My Grandmother, Rose Madeline Chiariello DeMuro.
