Trouble the Dog

Trouble square
Product: Plush stuffed dog

Price: $39.95

Website: troublethedog.net

Sheila Duncan of Marblehead, Mass., created huggable plush dog “Trouble” to uplift children (or anyone, for that matter) whenever they feel sad or blue. His lovable face may appeal to kids so much because it was drawn by a 12-year-old — Duncan’s niece — after several cancer losses in their family. The company, which also sells books, keychains and necklaces, donates Trouble dogs all over the world to children’s hospitals, the Children’s Miracle Network and to families after crises and natural disasters.

Editors’ Comment: Oh-so-soft and cuddly, we instantly felt better after one hug from Trouble. This is a great gift for a young child and it comes with a custom doghouse they can decorate. Also notable, this toy is 100% made in the USA.
