Kamala Harris is taking over the internet in a hilarious way.

Since launching her campaign for president, a crush of memes, videos and hashtags have surfaced on social media – everything from “Cat Ladies for Harris” and #Kamalot on X (formerly Twitter), to dance videos on “KamalaTok” (TikTok) that imagine how the vice president will flash her moves if she wins the White House.

Harris this week launched her official TikTok account, which already has more than 3 million followers. The move, reports say, is an effort to attract more young voters and keep them from falling away from politics. Celebrities have shown their support for Harris, like British singer Charlie XCX tweeting “kamala IS brat,” a reference to the singer’s new album. Harris’ campaign jokingly referenced the tweet on the Kamala HQ TikTok account to its over 2 million followers.

We’ve included six hilarious Harris memes and TikToks on social media, that are sure to make you laugh (hopefully not as hard as falling out of a coconut tree.)

1. “Bye Bye Bye.”

Harris has one message for Trump: “Bye Bye Bye.” In her recent TikTok video, the vice president met up with NSYNC singer Lance Bass for a comical tease at former president Donald Trump. In the video, which has 40 million views, Bass sarcastically asks Harris, “Hey Kamala, what are we gonna say to Donald Trump in November?” to which she responds, “Bye Bye Bye.” Not only is Harris referring to NSYNC’s 2000 hit single, she’s also hilariously displaying her confidence to beat Trump — which latest polls point to as a potential possibility.

2. Kamala Harris, the new Captain America

Marvel may need to reconsider rebranding its Captain America character. Several users on X are circulating AI-generated images of Harris wearing the superhero’s outfit — all with shield in hand, ready to battle Trump for the seat at the White House. In another image, Harris is face-to-face with the ‘villain,” pictured as Trump in an orange prison uniform, like two Mortal Kombat game characters. The image even mimics a movie poster, plastered with the words “The fight for America, the prosecutor vs the the felon.” Whoever prompted this design, it’s clear who they see as America’s hero.

3. “Nobody moves like Harris”

Those enticed by the funny side of social media have surely seen videos of the vice president showing off her dance moves. In a TikTok posted by DailyMail.com, several clips show a dancing Harris — including the viral video of her breaking it down with children, and her dancing alongside gospel artist Kirk Franklin at a Juneteenth concert last month. Whether she’s dancing in the rain under an umbrella or at the 50th anniversary of hip-hop celebration at the White House, she clearly knows how to bust a move.

4. “Brat”

After posting a viral tweet about Harris being “brat”, Charli XCX inspired a wave of humorous TikTok videos around the term, with Harris as the focus, of course. In one TikTok posted by a woman named Judiz, several clips, including the viral video of Harris stopping Mike Pence from cutting her off during a 2020 vice presidential debate, attempt to show why Harris is, indeed, “brat.” While social media users have posted explainer videos trying to define the term, like TikToker @itsjohnwalsh, Charli XCX posted in her own TikTok what the name means: which is, a woman who is a little messy and likes to party but “is very honest, is very blunt, and is a little bit volatile,” she said.

5. “Never forget Kamala Harris during the mute challenge at the Renaissance tour.”

Nothing stands out more on Harris than her iconic laugh — and according to TikTok, many agree. Several videos posted on the platform have poked fun at the vice president’s chuckle, including one video comically playing the sound of Harris’ laugh during the mute challenge at Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert. For those unfamiliar, concertgoers must remain silent as soon as Beyoncé sings, “look around everybody on mute” from her song “Energy.” But instead, in this video, Harris’ comical laugh blares through the silence. But not to worry Beyhive fans, the video isn’t real and Harris appears to have a great relationship with the Queen Bee. In fact, the singer allowed Harris to use her song “Freedom” during a recent campaign event. Beyoncé even gifted Harris and her husband tickets to her show in Landover, Maryland, which the vice president clearly enjoyed, tweeting afterwards, “Thanks for a fun date night @Beyonce” on X.

6. “You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?”

Earlier this year, the vice president spoke at a swearing-in ceremony for the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics. During her speech, Harris reminisced on the words her mother once told her: “‘I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people,’” Harris said. “‘You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?’ You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.” Since then, Harris’ “coconut tree” phrase has taken social media by storm, captured in everything from music remixes to hilarious memes. In one post, a TikTok user replaces a line from Beyoncé and Jay Z’s  “Drunk in Love” with Harris’ coconut tree phrase. And perhaps what’s most comical, is that even with Harris’ voice, the song doesn’t miss a beat.
