Elizabeth Woods of Magnificent Quiche gives New Year’s advice for budding entrepreneurs.

There may be no better time to launch a business than the New Year, when resolutions are fresh and energy is high. We asked a few of our successful entrepreneurs to share their best tips for starting up.

Elizabeth Woods struggled with dyslexia all throughout her school years in Memphis, Tenn. A mother of two, she dropped out of high school and made ends meet working at a local restaurant as a waitress and cook. She realized that she had the skills to run her own food business and launched Magnificent Quiche in 1999, on the day of her son’s 20th birthday. Woods now sells more than 58 different kinds of quiche to hotels, restaurants and online grocers.

In this video, Woods shares her advice for other women business owners on how to push an organization forward.
