Reason for starting
I couldn’t find high-quality, fashionable accessories to add style to my bike while I commuted to work. Lost in a sea of unflattering spandex bike shorts, tired of heavy metal racks and baskets, I was inspired to start Eleanor’s. The business was launched in April 2012, I named my business after my grandmother who shared an enthusiasm for bicycling. Online, you’ll find unique, versatile items for fashion-savvy bikers. Helmets that are cute, not clunky. Clothes you can bike to a party in and still be the best-dressed person there. Gear that says “chic French girl”—not “Tour de France.”
