Reason for starting
I always wanted to start and run my own company. In CareerFuel, I finally identified a big space–work–that was broken and in need of a big, consumer oriented improvement. CareerFuel is the only site that gives people “the skinny” on what they need to know and do to find jobs and start businesses, plus the inspiration to get it done.

Biggest Success
Success for us is measured in monthly uniques. In month seven, we doubled our audience in just four weeks. This was helped by being named Website of the Day, a Killer Startup, being quoted in Business Insider, having Forbes publish one of our blogs, and having several publishing platforms choose to carry our blogs/videos.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Our biggest challenge is lack of consumer awareness. Many of the biggest tech startups in the last decade became overnight successes as a result of a big media story. Our goal is to get the press interested in CareerFuel so that millions of people who need jobs or start businesses can be more successful i this environment of “information chaos”.

Who is your most important role model?
My role model isn’t any one person, per se, but rather a collection of women who achieve greatness as mothers, professionals, friends, sisters, and partners every day despite the impossible list of challenges. We make things happen as women. And the world is a better place because we manage to do the impossible every day, usually serving others.
