Reason for starting: Instead of being hired to fulfill someone else’s dream, I consider it better to fulfill one’s own dreams. Life is too short to allow someone else to be your boss. I have always been passionate about managing my own startup, not just because I wanted to be my own boss, but because entrepreneurship teaches you responsibility, accountability and learning from your own mistakes in the best way possible.

How do you define success? Success is doing something which gives you a feeling of accomplishment and lifts your morale. In terms of business, success is when you are able to satisfy your clients in terms of your product or service. Whether it is worth a dollar or millions of dollars, as long as your customers, for whom you have designed your product, is happy, you are successful.
Biggest success: My biggest success has been becoming independent and being able to fulfill my financial needs at the age of 24, through my own startup. It feels amazing when I see my clients sending me their pictures wearing the product I designed for them.
What is your top challenge and how you have addressed it? My top challenge was initially nationwide exposure, which I have been able to get now, through sharing my story on different blogs and getting positive reviews from customers. Also, my friends helped me in marketing my products through word of mouth and on social media. Still I need exposure when talking about global sales. I want my products to sell across the globe and I am finding ways to do that.

Who is your most important role model? My most important role model is my father who has always advised me to stay on top and do whatever it takes to climb the ladder of success. He has been a constant motivator. He has always believed in my abilities and never discouraged me. His management skills, hard work and commitment has really inspired me. On the other hand, relationship management and interpersonal skills are what my mother has always put emphasis on. So my parents are my inspiration and role models.
