Reason for starting
I always enjoyed the event production, planning and management job that I did as part of running a professional Dance Company. When the economy took its toll and I no longer was employed, I wanted to create a job for myself that I could be passionate about and have a lot of fun with. I love helping people to create memorable occasions. So – event planning sounded like a great fit for me.
How do you define success?
I define success by how happy my clients are – and how well I have helped them to achieve their goals for their event. Success is being able to work hard towards the common goal that I share with my client – and being able to achieve it.

My biggest success is being able to live my dream!
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
The top challenge is reaching enough people personally to create my new business. Marketing takes a lot of time and energy if you do it well. And then I have to actually produce the event that you get the contract for. Knowing when my limits are reached and asking for help to run the business is the biggest ongoing challenge so that I can maintain a balance in my life.
