When we recently spoke with Deborah Jackson of the crowdfunding platform Plum Alley, she advised budding women business owners to “[f]igure out a way to make money, what your customer wants, and your value proposition.”

If her site’s recent infographic is any indicator, many female entrepreneurs have cracked the code.

The image — crafted from data commissioned by American Express OPEN — asserts that women-owned companies are growing fast enough to outpace the national average for all businesses in the $10 million+ revenue bracket.

Additionally, the infographic contains some good advice for female entrepreneurs: Dream big, make the audacious ask, reach financial stability, and don’t forget to tell the world about your achievements.
