Buy a bag, fund girls sports — that’s the simple ethos behind Katie Rock’s company Activyst, which makes a number of athletic bags and apparel. Inspired by her travels and research in Nicaragua, Rock created the Los Angeles company to promote physical activity among girls around the world. Girls who play sports are healthier, more educated, more confident and happier, according to Rock. While in Nicaragua, she came across the bright water-resistant material used for her bags. These particular totes help support education and running expenses for girls in Ethiopia.

Editors’ Comment: The size is perfect for a purse or travel bag, and it comes in bright colors (coral, shown above, or turquoise) so you can find it in a flash. Plus, we love the cause – sports should be for everyone!
