Reason for starting
My vision was to take everything people hate about the family law system and do the opposite. Marriages may end, but families endure. To help people get through a divorce and be in a better place thanks to using our service…peace in the world, one family at a time.
How do you define success?
Making money doing what I love in service to the world. That sounds a little lofty, but since 50% of all marriages end in divorce, we can do our part to help families and kids throught this life changing event. We resolve conflict, write books, present at conferences, and make You Tube videos with puppets. What’s not to love?
Biggest Success
Publishing 2 books with Simon & Schuster and Penguin…and getting Christmas cards seeing smiling children of our former clients.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
The more skilled we are at resolving divorce cases the less it costs clients, which cuts into the profit margin! We’re addressing it through public education and outreach—a steady stream of clients means that we can have a lower profit margin and still be profitable.
Who is your most important role model?
Hillary Clinton. She just keeps moving forward even when Plan A didn’t work out…and even when Plan B doesn’t work out.
