Apple TV+ has scooped up an eight-part docuseries from Hillary Clinton and daughter Chelsea Clinton that highlights a demographic we can get on board with: gutsy women.
Premiering September 9, “Gutsy” follows the former Secretary of State, New York senator and presidential candidate as she and her daughter have in-depth conversations with influential women who have helped shape culture and society.
The roster currently includes Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Megan Thee Stallion, Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson, according to Variety.
The show, based on the Clintons’ 2019 book, “The Book of Gutsy Women,” will also highlight the hosts’ mother-daughter bond as the women “embark on a thought-provoking journey to speak with pioneering women artists, activists, community leaders and everyday heroes,” according to the streaming service.
The streamer promises to show Hillary and Chelsea “as you’ve never seen them before.”
The mother-daughter duo also serve as executive producers, and longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin serves as one of the consulting producers.
