A whopping 90 percent of small businesses are using social networks to find, target and communicate with customers online, according to a recent Manta survey of 600 small businesses.  And 78 percent say they gained at least a quarter of their new customers through online or social media channels in 2012.

As the infographic below shows, marketing is pushing CEOs to get social with half of them engaging on their company websites and increasingly embracing social media.
