Name: Janet Kafadar

Business: Janet Kafadar Signature Program Specialist, custom online programs and products for small businesses

Industry: Coaching & ConsultingMarketing & PR

Location: Canberra, Australia

Reason for starting: I started my business to help women entrepreneurs and service providers create products and programs to give them more time, more money and lifestyle freedom. After speaking with so many entrepreneurs what I was finding was that these fabulous women were struggling to find ways to create an online product or program. They just didn’t know what to do or where to start to create or structure the content for their programs, let alone find ways to make it engaging. I felt that there was a huge gap in the market to help guide these women through the process step by step to create something amazing that resonates with their audience.

How do you define success? By being able to make a difference in someone’s life. If the products and programs that my clients create resonate with their audience in a way that impacts their life – that is success to me. Also being able to have a lifestyle business that revolves around me and my family is also top of the list.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it? My top challenge was believing in myself and realising that I have something special that I can share. It took me months to get momentum and realise I can help others. Now I am in a place where I feel things are just going to keep getting better and better from here.

Who is your most important role model? My mother. She is the most driven, self motivated and ambitious person I know. She doesn’t give up and I LOVE that about her. When I was little she would always say ‘you can do anything you want, and don’t let anyone tell you any different!’ Whenever I’m having a tough time in my business, I remember these words as if it were yesterday. Also she would always say ‘there’s no such thing as can’t – which is so true.
