Reason for starting
I struggled with my weight for over 10 years. When I discovered how weight loss can be simple and fun I knew more women needed to learn how. Losing weight shouldn’t be a b*tch. I now work with women entrepreneurs because they are the change makers in this world. They need to be 100% so they can fully show up in their business and their life.
Biggest Success
Giving my story to an audience of over 130 women. While this success cannot be measured in dollars or pounds, telling others about my struggle leaves things to never be the same. Something shifted in that room. I continue to get contacted by women who were touched by my talk and that’s my dream. To create the change I wish to see in the world.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
There was a point, 6 months after I started my business where I felt I had hit a glass ceiling of growth. I later discovered it had a lot to do around visibility and really being seen in my business. When I could no longer push this boulder up the hill myself, I got support. And lots of it. Now I have a team supporting and stretching me and my biz.
Who is your most important role model?
It’s hard to pick just one. I love to pull certain qualities from prominent women to create a customized blend of what an ideal role model would be for me. If I had to get close, it would be my mentor Christina Morassi. I often find myself saying “I want that” whenever she takes a big leap in her business.
