Reason for starting
I worked in business development for Be Inspired PR, my sister’s company-a public relations firm serving the bridal industry. It was during that time that she was engaged and we were planning her wedding. I was overwhelmed by all of the information and ideas on the Web and that there wasn’t one place online to gather all of the amazing ideas.
Biggest Success
Pushing the site live last year! I self funded the site initially. We’ve now grown to 9 full time employees and 6 part timers.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
It is always balancing resources, managing people, staying focused!
Who is your most important role model?
My dad. I come from a family of entrepreneurs – my father was an immigrant and came to this country and built a business and was able to realize the American dream, and now I am doing the same with my company.
