Reason for starting
I started United Architects because I wanted to control my own destiny and do great architecture work which had my imprint and my name on it.
How do you define success?
Success is being able to work on interesting projects with wonderful, interesting clients.
Biggest Success
Having been able to last for over 25 years in this business, which is primarily a male-dominated business, and accumulate a portfolio of work which is rather good in my opinion.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Getting larger projects and consistent opportunities to do good work. I work at it one day at a time.
Who is your most important role model?
I don’t really have one. I kind of inspire myself.
