Reason for starting
I wanted to provide a simple, easy-to-understand tool for kids and adults to discover their own brilliance – their unique learning styles – their Dispositions, Modalities, Talents, Interests – and to use that information to create a life of doing what they love. I partnered with a colleague and we co-created our Learning Success and Personal Success Profiles. Our business kept developing and growing as we added workshops, seminars, books, consultations, certification training, and an alternative K-12 school program to our products and services list. The LearningSuccess™ approach is based on working with each person’s natural gifts, rather than applying dysfunctional labels such as A.D.D., Dyslexic, Hyperactive, Learning Disabled, or even average. Our mission is to facilitate true learning and life success for all.

How do you define success?
Making money doing what you love, contributing to the world, developing fulfilling relationships, living a life of joy and love, being at peace with God, yourself and others.

Biggest Success
Publishing our book, “Discover Your Child’s Learning Style” and creating our online Learning Success and Personal Success Profiles were big successes. But our true biggest successes are the kids, parents, and individual adults whose lives we have changed.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Our top challenge has always been marketing / promotion. We continue to seek the most effective ways to get our message out to the world. Currently, we are collaborating with a company that is giving our website a complete makeover, and having discussions with others to find more ways to partner.

Who is your most important role model?
All the people who have kept going in spite of the odds against them. People who have made something out of nothing. People who have never given up, kept going for their dreams, and once they made it gave back to the world in big ways. People like Oprah come to mind.
