Funkins

Funkins holiday small

Product: Reusable Cloth Napkins

Price: $12 and up

Website: www.myfunkins.com

Lisa Baumgartner created Funkins after attending dozens of children’s events where trash cans were left filled with used paper napkins. She designed the festive reusable fabrics to function as alternatives to napkins, placemats and tablecloths. The napkins are phthalate- and lead-free and made with low-impact dyes. The company encourages schools to create a waste-free lunch program by using Funkins, and donates 10% of sales to every school that participates.

Editors’ Comment: The Funkin comes in adorable holiday designs making it an ideal stocking stuffer for environmentally conscious parents. Though we do wonder if children will remember to bring the napkin back…
