Reason for starting
After overcoming emotional eating and food addiction, I started a health coaching practice 5 years ago, helping women find freedom from emotional eating. In 2010, after overcoming intense workaholism, I began coaching coaches around building businesses that gave them freedom. When women are free, we can be incredible change-makers in the world.

Biggest Success
Doubling revenues in 2011, then tripling revenues in 2012 has been amazing. My biggest moment of success, though, came when I flew my assistant to retreats I was leading in New York and San Francisco — her first time visiting each city! To see how the growth of my business was directly impacting someone on my team made me so proud.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
My top challenge has been going through transitional periods in my business, when I was redefining my niche or refining my message. In these periods, I have consulted with colleagues and coaches, and taken courses that speak specifically to my challenges.

Who is your most important role model?
As cliché as it is to say, my mother is my most important role model. She has always been incredibly resilient and willing to do anything she needed for her family, while staying true to her sense of purpose on the planet.
