Reason for starting
I started my my blog as an outlet for my social media marketing business. Little did I know that my passion for it would grow to be far more than that. I acutally really enjoy blogging and interacting with other bloggers and readers more than I could have imagined. I love hitting post on a completed family focused article!
How do you define success?
Well, I can’t lie and say that I don’t try to quantify it with numbers. I am always looking at my statistics to see how many readers and followers I have. But at the end of the day, success comes down to being happy with what I am with the process and the result and I am!
Biggest Success
I have built my blog from nothing, with no advertising, except through social networking so I was very pleased to win the 2011 StartupNation Savviest in Social Media Winner Award. When I see that I have about 50K readers who are interacting with my blog and social media outlets, that makes me feel great. I also feel successful when big name brands approach me about being featured on my blog or with unusual opportunites like the chance to do behind the scenes movie filming reporting!
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
My top challenge to keep growing and keep improving. I work toward that goal every day and I check and adjust my priorities on a regular basis.
