Reason for starting
As Creative Director of Interflow Group and Chairperson of Interflow Public Service Division, I was involved with causes that I felt were crucial for the Pakistani society. By creating and heading a 24/ 7 TV news channel, I get the opportunity to work more effectively in that direction.
How do you define success?
I define success as the accomplishment of goals and ideals one sets to achieve in life.
Biggest Success
My biggest success has been the balance of my work and family life. That has been my most cherished goal.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
My top challenge as CEO of a news channel is to resist the temptation of sensationalizing news for the sake of viewership. I address it by emphasizing at every level of the organization the need to be objective, balanced and positive.
Who is your most important role model?
My most important role model is Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam. He is the model of perfect ethical character. Since he is the most perfect of God’s creations, all Muslims strives to follow his example in every sphere of life.
