Reason for starting
After one fateful night in New York City, I founded My Secret Luxury™ to celebrate the unique passions of every person. After realizing that all other stores carried thousands of products — from low-end to high-end, I created a store that carries a curated selection of only the best high quality body-safe adult toys that embody style, design and functionality.

How do you define success?
Inspiring love, romance, and intimate moments one satisfied customer at a time through high quality sex toys and sex accessories, which provide the occasion to give and get pleasure, grow love, celebrate intimacy, and introduce fun.

Biggest Success
Being nominated for the best online retailer-pleasure products after only 5 months in business.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Educating the consumer about the difference between high quality toys and regular cheap toys. By focusing on the mainstream consumer and only selling the best high quality products, we are revolutionizing the adult toy industry.

Since I am in what many believe to be a risque industry, I constantly evaluate all of my business decisions based on implications to my family, friends, and community. While I have not yet had to make any compromises or change any decisions, this is something that constantly weighs on me as I go about running my business. Unfortunately, many people still perceive these products as taboo, and it’s an unnecessary strain to constantly think about having to tip-toe around issues that any other company would not think twice about.

Who is your most important role model?
Sarah Blakely – I love her can do attitude, that she wouldn’t take “no” for an answer and did it on her own without outside money.
