The US Healthcare system is broken. When I started the company, there were no available options to having affordable, quality care without an insurance requirement. So I started Qnova Health (formally called DocPons Inc) to address the problem of affordable access to care for every person in America.
Biggest Success
Winning “Company Most Likely to Change the World” at the Women 2.0 Pitch competition in Silicon Valley, February 2012. Related to that, having the opportunity to share the vision of the company across the US and internationally. Qnova Health was also accepted into Astia, an accelerator program for women-led high growth companies.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Funding the company in the midst of healthcare reform and the political climate concerning healthcare in America. In addition, finding the right team to help me build this company.
Who is your most important role model?
I have many role models. What they all have in common is that they are visionaries with persistence and accomplishment despite the odds.
