As a military veteran, I departed active duty with a few assumptions about the corporate world that I had to quickly dispel to survive as a consultant.
I was working in community development in various countries and realised that although there were networks for women in business, there was not much around women who wanted to impact on society and the environment.
A big part of my motivation is the desire to help others achieve their dreams and expand upon their entrepreneurial spirit.
I started my business to ensure I could live my true purpose. I would not have been able to do that working for someone else.

That “Aha!” moment led to FamilyFounded.com, a site dedicated to enhancing people’s experience working with family by providing peer-to-peer support and advice from top professional experts around the world.
I started my business in 2008 because I thought I could take all the lessons I learned in the military and in corporate life and turn this wisdom into leadership curriculum that I could share with corporations.
