Back in December, we featured Trouble the Dog on our list of socially conscious stocking stuffers made by female entrepreneurs. Sheila Duncan of Marblehead, Mass., created the huggable plush toy to raise children’s spirits whenever they feel sad or blue. The company sells dogs, books and accessories, and also donates Trouble dogs to children’s hospitals, the Children’s Miracle Network and to families after crises and natural disasters.
We weren’t the only ones who liked Trouble. The MSNBC show “Your Business” recently featured Trouble and his creator in this elevator-pitch segment above. Experts Gene Marks and Angela Lee gave the company high marks for passion and growth, and offered some encouraging words about strategy.
Trouble, we’re keeping an eye on you.
