Reason for starting
I started my company to educate America’s youth on the basic principles of financial literacy and provide them with the skills to become financially free and fiscally responsible adults.

Biggest Success
This year, I started providing financial workshops for Girl Scouts to earn their financial literacy badges. Additionally, I have just completed a book that will help parents teach financial literacy concepts to their children.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Getting parents to enroll their children in financial literacy summer camp. Although, the children that go through the camps always have fun and love it, they don’t think learning about money can be fun. So, I am targeting captive audiences such as the girl scouts and also I have submitted a proposal to teach children that are in detention centers.

Who is your most important role model?
My mother is my most important role model. She is 82 years old and when she was in her 20’s, she was a young widow with 3 children to support and unable to find a job. She started her own real estate, property management and insurance agency. She is still working in her business.
