Reason for starting
I was laid-off from my regular job almost 2 years ago, but during my tenure as an employee, I worked part-time on building my own business.
Biggest Success
Networking with new clients and having the opportunity to work on some exciting new projects. It’s all a team effort and we can share the success together.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Maintaining a cash flow month-to-month. I used to have a single client that kept me busy with projects every month, but when their work subsided, I had to go out and network with new portential clients. The goal is to diversify and have a pool of clients to improve your potential for having work.
Who is your most important role model?
A couple of project managers I frequently work with are very intelligent and I value their insight.
