Wanted to build a business of my own.
How do you define success?
I see myself as a person who is eager to learn constantly, ambitious to develop continuously and sociable and adventurous enough to explore life even in difficult situations. If I could touch more lives and add some value to each one of them, I guess I will be successful.
Biggest Success
Having run Csquare learnings successfully for 7 years, I am proud to say that I started Rashmiinfra which is into government construction works. Besides of the hurdles, I have manged to bring people together to complete $2 million revenue to Rashmiinfra, in the last 2 years.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Completion of my first Infrastructure project worth of INR 4Mn is definitely my most substantial accomplishment. Few months ago, I was ridiculed by many around me, when I have decided to venture into Infrastructure business with no previous experience. Apparently, Infrastructure business is male dominated field and a woman has no place in it. However, with the help of my network, I sought a project worth of 2Mn from Bangalore Municipal Corporation. Nevertheless, I encountered multiple challenges. First was to understand the modus operand of such works. Second was to find experienced team to execute the work. Third was to raise funds. Incidentally, I did my certificate course in Women’s Entrepreneurship from IIM-Bangalore, which was of great help. With all resources I manged to complete all works and looking ahead for the future
