Reason for starting
Help local health-oriented businesses attract and retain customers by providing a loyalty program for healthy shopping behavior. We also help local non-profit organizations raise funds through sales of gift card to businesses in the CHAOS Rewards network.
How do you define success?
We at CHAOS Rewards will have achieved success in this enterprise when we have saturated the Louisville KY market, and CHAOS becomes a verb! Our next level of success will be when we can expand into metropolitan areas in surrounding states and beyond.
Biggest Success
We are still in the formative stages, but our biggest success so far was finding a way to offer CHAOS Rewards to local businesses and customers with no monthly fee, and greatly-reduced environmental impact.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
Our top challenge was having to charge businesses in our network over $150 a month due to printing costs. We addressed this by developing a card-free reward program, eliminating costs and environmental impact associated with card production.
Who is your most important role model?
My sister, Shauna Hicks who inspired my work in public health.
