Steffanie Haggins  Studio Steffanie Enterprises, Inc.
Steffanie Haggins of Conyers, Georgia, knows that women often put their own needs on the back burner in order to accommodate everyone else in their life. Through her business Studio Steffanie, she’s helping women change these practices by coaching them in finance, physical fitness and emotional wellbeing. Haggins knows from personal experience how stressful life can be, so she helps clients reduce stress and learn how to put themselves first, so they can truly succeed in life.

Steffanie Haggin‘s story, as told to The Story Exchange 1,000+ Stories Project:

The reason I started my business is because I wanted to create a positive environment for women to be able to enhance their lives. Women run their households without the proper education or the right mindset, and our next generation suffers as a result. I teach women how to love themselves from within and how to stop putting their personal lives on the back burner, taking care of everything and everyone else before they take care of themselves. Women have a lot of responsibilities and their lives can become stressful at times. Stress is the number one silent killer, and without the proper information, positive environment and professional coaching, some women may never be happy during this lifetime. I empower women who struggle with weight-loss challenges and low energy levels initially. I help women through my program that helps them make healthier food choices, specific exercise routines and increase their energy levels in order to enjoy this journey through life!

Success to me means having financial freedom, as long as it is legally, ethically and morally correct. Personal success is when goals are accomplished. Success is the ability to complete a task, and it’s having peace of mind.

My biggest success to date is being a mother. Becoming a mother was the most rewarding experience I have ever had because it’s an honor to be blessed with raising little babies and having the opportunity to mold them into greatness. To this date, my three children (grown adults now) are an asset to society. Each and every one of them has accomplished greatness in their own unique way. So, with all of my business and personal accomplishments, raising my children with my husband as a family was and is still the best accomplishment that I have been very successful with to date.

My most significant personal situation that has affected my business decisions was when I was going through a divorce. Having to change my business strategy and trying to prepare for the unknown future can be a bit stressful at times. However, allowing yourself to be human and understanding that some things are beyond your control. Hopefully, you know that you can control yourself, and that’s the important element to remember. Life goes on and everything is a learning lesson to grow. So when significant situations come your way, take time out to stop, breathe and plan again — only better.

Working with some people and/or suppliers can become more of a distraction if you’re not able to find the right people to work with. I always say that, if I could only have two or three of me, I’d be able to conquer the world of business because I know what I am capable of doing. However, I have addressed this situation of working with people by establishing a relationship first with the people and suppliers that may work on a project with me. That has been the best first step when it comes to working with others. Now, I’m able to bond with people by establishing professional relationships and completing projects without any unnecessary drama.

One of my goals for my business is to go worldwide with my program, because most women are struggling with the same issues mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. Once they know that there’s a service that can assist them in balancing out their lives, and they’re able to gain peace of mind with the tools and techniques that I offer, then there’s nothing stopping them from achieving their personal success in life. So, brand awareness is my main goal. The next goal is to make every customer a happy customer in order to refer others towards my services. The last goal is for company growth, because I need a team to help me grow bigger than I am now.

My most important role model is my mentor. My mentor has been able to help me grow within the industry. There are so many things to take into consideration when it comes to starting and managing your own business. Therefore, when you have a mentor to help prevent things that could possibly happen due to your lack of knowledge, you learn how to appreciate them that much more.
