Born in India, Sheela Murthy was accepted to law school at Harvard University and then fought to obtain her citizenship for 12 years. The experience led her to open her own firm, Murthy Law Firm in Owings Mill, Md., specializing in immigration law. She expanded her services by offering free legal information online and now her website is one of the most visited law websites in the world.
