In 2020, Vanessa Franz was working as a web designer and business marketer. As more of her clients began to rely on influencers to help market their products – Franz noticed a gap in the industry: where was the database that would let clients browse available influencers for hire? Franz did some digging, and much to her surprise realized there wasn’t a free platform that brands could search to find the right influencer to partner with. Nor was there a reliable method for vetting and conducting due diligence before hiring that creator or influencer. So in 2022, Franz launched Privy Reviews, her very own review site for content creators. Today, the British Columbia, Canada-based entrepreneur is helping influencers build credibility through Privy Reviews, while helping brands find the creator that’s the perfect (and trustworthy) match for their upcoming marketing campaign

Editor’s Note: Privy Reviews has been named to The Story Exchange’s 2024 list of 10 Brilliant Business Ideas.
