Deborah Olivo of VidaAire gives New Year’s advice for budding entrepreneurs.

There may be no better time to launch a business than the New Year, when resolutions are fresh and energy is high. We asked a few of our successful entrepreneurs to share their best tips for starting up.

When Deborah Olivo — a single mom — lost her job in the lowest point of the recession, she had no choice but to try and make a living with what she already did as a hobby. Mixing essential oils in her kitchen, in 2009, Olivo launched VidaAire, a line of all natural sanitizers and air fresheners.

In this video, Olivo shares her tips for boosting productivity as a female entrepreneur.
