Name: Dr Bhavi Mody

Business: Vrudhi HolisticHealth Care

Location: Mumbai, India

Industry: Healthcare, Wellness & Fitness

Reason for starting? As a doctor my vision is to provide homeopathic healthcare to the world. I wish to provide holistic health care globally. A humane approach to holistic healing is my mantra. I am a post-graduate in Homeopathy, with two decades of clinical experience. I also promote health and wellness through numerous articles and blogs to create awareness. I’ve had over 50 publications in various newspapers and magazines. My website was created to offer Quality Health Care at a click and to save on time and travel and provide reliable information available to people all in one place.

How do you define success?  Success to me means to touch a life, heal them and spread health and smiles.
When an ailing child or anyone gets better and comes back with a smile that is success. Success is also managing your work and personal life with ease. When someone asks for recommendations for a good Homeopath and you are tagged multiple times that is success. Every failure is a stepping stone to success. You fail to rise and succeed. When your children see you as a role model that is success. Success is having a strong support from your husband, who not only mentors and believes in your abilities but is the wind beneath your wings and wants you to fly high.

Biggest success: Having worked in health care for more than two decades I have had a couple of individual success stories. My husband and I worked in mental health with our NGO Vrudhi Research Foundation and went on to set up Edupsyche, while creating a mental health app called Mentagram, from which we made an exit – and that is one of the biggest success stories in my life.

What is your top challenge and how you have addressed it? In spite of having garnered immense goodwill and a good name as a Homeopath, a challenge for me is to make sure my website ranking comes up organically. In this sense marketing the website is a challenge. So I have tried to understand what it takes to improve the ranking, understanding the nuances of SEO and SMO. I am also looking to hire Marketing since I understand I cannot do it all myself. I also took up a short workshop on the same so that I understand the intricacies of digital marketing.

Who is your most important role model? My husband and my father are my role models. My husband has been my mentor and guide. He has pushed me to achieve my dreams. He is extremely passionate and hardworking and has reached the position that he is in with determination and grit. My father is absolutely a self made man. I have seen the highs and lows in his journey and have immense respect for him. I can’t forget my mom’s here as the resilience in me is a gift from her. She has always taught me to look at any situation in a positive light and never give up.
